One of my namesakes is Alice, of "Alice in Wonderland". She's a young girl, loving and gentle, imaginative and curious. In the story, as she goes to different places she learns new things. The first one she meets is the White Rabbit, who always seems to be worried that he'll be late! He's very sweet, though! I think in my loving and gentle temperament I resemble Alice, and my sweetness is like the White Rabbit's sweetness. I don't worry, however, about being late for anything, because I'm a calm girl. The only thing I desire is to go home with you forever, so I can give you my love and keep your home happy! Please invite me soon!
"The perfect evening: a cup of hot cocoa and me!" During my temperament testing my sweetness made such an impression on everyone in the room that they named me "Marshmallow". Now, what could be sweeter than marshmallow, and what doggie could be any sweeter than me? Here's more of what makes me so sweet: I'm calm, gentle, attentive (means I'm always waiting to see how I can please you), I love people and other dogs, and I'm easy to handle.
I'm a quiet and gentle young girl. My name comes from French, and means "thought". Pansies have always been loved for their colorful and beautiful shapes. People have praised them, saying that pansies express grace, delicacy, and tenderness. Europeans are reported to have called them "heart's ease", because looking at a pansy can cheer up a blue spirit. I have all of those traits in my temperament. Right now I'm new at the Shelter, so I'm not yet at ease, but I'm gradually getting used to life here, and want to start playing with everyone soon.

Pet photographer Noriko Obinata and singer-songwriter Evie Abston, both BV Humane volunteers, have teamed up to produce a video showcasing the over 80 pets BV Humane placed in "forever homes" during the months of May and June.
